The Klagetoh Rug was originally woven by an unknown Navajo weaver. The design was made with cuts of paper and pasted into place. The design is traditionally made with geometric designs to resemble the balance in ones self.
Lajasta Wauneka is an award winning Navajo (Dine) artist. She is from Fort Defiance Arizona. Her main style is the rendering of Navajo Dieties (Yei) into her artwork. She has been an artist for most of her life following in the footsteps of her brothers and father.
